Read the story because it really does show how families are treated by Amicus Horizon who are not and never have been good enough to act as a social housing landlord. I hope and pray along with many other victims that soon our complaints reach a level within the Government or the House of Lords where someone who cares about the people of this country will call for them to be placed under supervision.
VERMIN: Miss Reid with the vermin she killed CRDC20101122D1 by David Cook

A TERRIFIED mother who complained to her housing association about an infestation of rats has been evicted from her home.
Beverley Reid, of Whytecliff Road North, Purley, says her home has been crawling with vermin for 18 months.
But when she complained to housing association AmicusHorizon, it served her with an eviction notice so it could undertake extensive work.
The mother of four young children said the latest incident came on Saturday, when a rat suddenly crawled up next to her child who was sitting on the sofa.
Miss Reid, who has lived at the property for three years, killed the rat by throwing a pestle at it.
She said: "I'm living with rats. It's disgusting and I can hear them all the time.
"I daren't cook in case a rat has climbed on a surface and I'm constantly bleaching everything to try and stop their germs spreading.
"Last week all of my children had sickness and diarrhoea, and I suspect it was because of the rats."
Miss Reid has until January 30 to move her children out.
She cannot leave before as housing team has not agreed to see her until January 10.
"It's the pits. These rats are huge and they jump," she fumed.
"It's so dangerous. None of us want to sleep in case they crawl into the rooms.
"They are actually bold enough to crawl on to us and we have to stay here until January. We can't bear it any more."
Miss Reid says the housing association replaced the floorboards last year and found seven dead rats underneath.
The rodents have continued to multiply.
She says she can't put traps down in case her children go near them, and rat poison is not stopping them, either.
"It's exhausting. We're all on edge and you can hear them scratching and gnawing," she said.
"It's the stuff of nightmares when you see them running across your floor."
Paul Bradnock, director of Avenue at AmicusHorizon, said the family had to leave because drastic works were needed to resolve the problem.
"For the issue to be fully resolved and a full investigation to take place, contractors will need to access the foundation and drainage of the property," he said.
"This work cannot be undertaken while the resident is in the property."
He added AmicusHorizon was housing Miss Reid on behalf of Croydon Council and her property is owned by a private landlord.
"It's necessary for the resident to go back to Croydon Council for assistance," he said.
A council spokesman said it had been in touch with AmicusHorizon about the matter.
He added: "If they're unable to resolve this issue, we would be happy to offer further advice."
