We will meet at Hastings railway station and perform a peaceful protest outside Queensbury House the Amicus Horizon building and then we will make our way peacefully to Hastings Town Hall and after a peaceful protest there we will make our way peacefully to the beach.

Yeah, unbelievable, when you have a server disability such as i had. was i allowed to be homeless living on the streets 4 a number of days, even though i am under a section 17 with cmht, the homeless persons unit didn't want to no until forced, and if you add a young teenage mother with mental health problem to the equ...ation you waiting for disaster to happen. Amicus Horizon Housing Association
Admit to having a company policy of ceasing contact with any tenant who has a dispute. Ceasing contact means no repairs-no customer services-no adaptations-no replies to emails letters telephone calls- it means absolutely no contact.
This is a company policy that conflicts with U.K law and any acceptable standard of decency. It puts tenants at risk, it puts disabled tenants in danger!
Recently Jennyfer Spencer died in Camden because she could get no help from her local council don`t let history repeat itself anywhere else.
Amicus Horizon are a law breaking landlord with a long history of breaking the law and what appears to be some very shady dealing in the past.
Hastings council are virtually controlled by Amicus Horizon as are other councils. Lewisham councillors publicly object to the lies from this social housing landlord and they also publicly object to the hold they have over their council.
Jeremy Birch leader of Hastings council refuses to even speak about the problem and Hastings council falsely claim that they have no powers to intervene against this landlord or to change their policies.
Sussex police say that Disability discrimination is a Non Crime we say that it is not when it is inflicted as a hate crime.
Swearing in public for anyone else is a public order offence but when Senior Amicus Horizon employees do this on a disabled persons property it is acceptable because (they say) that is how they talk in their offices.
False allegations is an offence but not if Amicus Horizon employees do it.
Persecution-Harrassment are offences but not if Amicus Horizon commit them
Disconnectingv essential services like water-Gas for no reason is an offence but not when Amicus Horizon do it.
Threats of eviction for non existent rent arrears is an offence but not when Amicus Horizon do it.
Hastings council-Hastings police and Hastings Adult Social care have all stated that they have never had a meeting together or with Amicus Horizon to ensure that the D.D.A is obeyed but the DED states that they should.

If our local authorities are serious about their commitments to us as tenants-residents then they should be leading the way and enforcing the law on our behalf.

It is taking up a lot of time organising this protest and our latest comments page is full. I will keep any comments you send in and put up a new comments page asap. Nicky Bettany and daniel Lippiatt are also organisers now but we still have 30,000 leaflets to drop in Hastings so we`re a bit busy. If you want to just arrive then thats okay but it would help us if you could let us know in advance. We now have some things to raffle, beanie toys etc and a London company has generously taken over our printing costs for us. This is going to be a fun day and we are all working very hard to see that it is a success, we are really amazed at the response and would like to thank everyone attending for their support

Nicola is travelling all the way from Sunderland to attend our protest because she knows it is important no matter where you live.
 why should the disabled be treated like second class citizens. We should have equal rights but we don't. I have been victimised where I live because of my disability by the neighbours and the police. I have just been dragged through... the courts system and cleared of false allegations that Northumbria Police Force made against me and also my neighbours made false allegations also. I got the court costs back.In the judicial system the disabled and mentally ill do not have any justice. The trial can be held in secreacy behind closed doors without you being present and still be found guilty of something you have not done. The solicitors misue the psychriatric reports. I was told by my barrister when I was fighting my innocence that the jury would not look on me favourably and that I could be found guilty and be locked away in a psychiatric hospital for however the judge imposed on me.This is not fair on people with mental health and disability problems. I'm going to get the judicial system changed if its only me going to speak out against the injustice.I have also suffered injustice by our local housing company. A month after they where transferred from council to housing stock the new company made false allegations against me and tried to evict me. I won my case in the criminal court and they still went ahead with the eviction so I decided to buy my property thinking it would be a good investment. How wrong I was about buying it. When I want repairs done they rip me off in price. If I challenge anything they send me solicitors letters warning me of court action if I dare phone them ever again.The police are a waste of time when my property gets damaged. That is why I am coming to the demonstration because what graeme says is true and we the disabled get no help or justice in this world.

Our protest is on the 16th August, starting the 17th we now have 8 volunteer drivers who are going to take turns driving from Hastings to Hurst Green and back, Hastings to Bexhil and back- Hastings to Rye and back with banners every rush hour, they will keep strictly to speed limits, we obey the law all that is needed is for Amicus Horizon Housing Association to start doing the same. If you would like to volunteer your services please do. We need drivers in other areas

The police contacted us today about numbers, how many would be attending our protest, they are passing details on to their planning team. They asked if we had informed Amicus horizon of this demonstration and Hastings council and I told them that we had but that neither had acknowledged receipt of our corresepondence.
Over the past 5 years Amicus Horizon Housing association have proved themselves to be the worst Social Housing Landlord in the country. Hastings council have shown that they care more about the seafront than the residents, or the rest of the town, in fact it is clear that if they could they would probably exile all of us, demolish the town and just rake in the cash from the tourists.
We have been seeking advice and/or help from our police and Lewes police for about a year and although they have not been able to help they have shown what a good police force we have, they are`nt judging anyone their only concern is safety, nice to have one authority in Hastings that we can be proud of.
We now have 36 volunteer protest drivers, they will drive their routes monday to friday every weekday from the 18th August so if you work for Amicus Horizon you will see us, sorry if you are late for work

I would like everyone attending our peaceful protest to remember that we are dealing with Amicus Horizon and for that reason there will be at least one video recorder for every 10 attendees, we guarantee that. there will also be at least 5 live feeds to the internet. Everyone will be given the name and phone number to a solicitor and we will all watch over each other very carefully.
This is a peaceful event and it is not designed in such a way that it will cause any inconvenience to local traders or residents, the police are aware of our intentions but if there are any disturbances from anyone outside our group it will be recorded and published on youtube for all to see.

The police contacted me this morning and advised me of my obligations as an organiser for our demonstration, as this is our first demonstration I was grateful that they did, I will honour my obligations.

We need you all to spread the word about this because this is a very effective way of focussing the spotlight on Amicus Horizon and Hastings council, us knowing about them does`nt count for much, the police knowing does`nt count because they do not have the support of the CPS but when everyone knows about them the CPS might look seriously at this landlord because we can make it a matter of "Public Interest" everyone agrees that they need supervision, even they know it.
These volunteer drivers are not carers or offers of transport, they are protest drivers with banners who have offered to drive a route every weekday during rush hour periods

Amicus Horizon have just telephoned me and asked if I would like to express an opinion on how they have handled my complaints regarding the swearing and false allegations from their senior staff member Ron grimmer. I replied that I was not satisfied and that the only action I would find acceptable would be if he were prosecuted and given a public order fine as anyone else would be. They are aware of our demonstration on the 16th. The police have asked us to consider cancelling this event but thats not going to happen now, not while Amicus horizon continue to treat it like its a joke.
I have now just had a letter pushed through my door from Amicus Horizon. It says: Dear Mr morgan As you have not contacted us with any outstanding issues, we have closed your complaint. I guarantee you all that if we were going to get 300 at our demonstration I am going to work non stop until that is boosted to 3,000. Join us on the 16th and help us make them pay attention!

Since we got back our phone has not stopped ringing! Steven Ward from Hastings has joined us and he will be attending our protest and he is going to be giving us a lot of material to publish on our website, this poor man who has had the guts to fight alone against these criminals has been struggling against the odds, as usual eviction orders against him, his gas water and electricity disconnected the police have taken no action and Hastings council has aided and abetted throughout. Hastings court same old story every decision has to be appealed and turned over by a higher court. Stevens first words were thank God I found you and that just shows the stress and strain that this illegal company uses to destroy liives! It is important that we all link our civil actions, all link our groups, all speak together. I assured the Hastings police that we would be well behaved which we must but I did not promise that we would be quiet! Everytime my phone rings and I hear what Amicus Horizon has done to someone else it makes me cringe with disgust and makes we want to fight harder and harder, coming soon we will be publishing more recordings of Ron grimmer - Steven May if anyone at Amicus Horizon imagines that a name change will be enough this time they are mistaken. Our site is now copied onto 5 computers at different addresses incase we lose our electric or our computers and there is a queue waiting to take this over if I should be arrested.

Hastings council want to charge us because they want to close Havelock road, they should be sending the bill to Amicus Horizon or paying it themselves because it is only necessary because of their misconduct.
They don`t want this demonstration because it highlights their failures and illegal behaviour and just a few of the many offences being committed under the Housing Act.
If the police were allowed to properly investigate and prosecute these matters or if Amicus Horizon behaved in a fair and decent manner towards disabled tenants none of this would be necessary

Five more tenants have asked to have their landlord problems posted on this site. Two of them have suffered the usual punishment for not agreeing with their landlord and have suffered what is appearing to be normal procedure:bullying, gas disconnected for long periods, threats of eviction, false allegations, harassment. I will be creating new pages for these two cases because they have a lot of photo`s some video`s for youtube and some voice recordings. I will be honest, we are so busy at the moment arranging the demonstration and trying to keep the site updated and masses of printing that a lot of comments are not going up but I will catch up with things after the 16th. If you are in dispute with Amicus Horizon please advise your solicitors of all the other cases, we would be far more effective if they were all linked. Also link your sites... Support each other... club together and advertise... I have no hesitation any more in openly accusing Amicus Horizon of criminal practices there is far too much evidence for any reasonable person to see it any other way. They rely upon discretion. Don`t allow them to have it. You are not alone and you do not have to put up with this sort of treatment It Is Illegal!

Finding all three of you yesturday has given me so much strenghth to fight my similer case here in Gateshead I was packed ready to move house but with nowhere to go. now because of you Nicky You Daniel you Graeme I am now unpacked with my new carpets fitted wherethey belong in my not yet so safe home. but it will be soon because I'm not alone anymore in my fight against Disability Hate Crime's committed by more people than the public have any conception of. if only they knew what goes on behind a curtain of deciet from those who are meant to searve us yet openly abuse the most vulnerable. And another one! Elderly Disabled couple, these tenants alleges that Amicus Horizon gained entrance into their home by using a false identity and ever since their complaint they have been ignored for 15 months.
Hastings council and Amicus Horizon can duck and dive as much as they like but this sort of behaviour is criminal behaviour and Hastings council should be doing their job and protecting vulnerable tenants, and this is another very vulnerable tenant.
Whenever anyone contacts us it is always the same distressing story, the same accusations, the same names! Jon Head is a thug! I don`t have time today to list it all but we will be shouting a full list of names outside the Amicus Horizon building on the 16th August and outside Hastings Town Hall.
Hastings Council take back our tenancies from this rogue landlord!- Amicus Horizon You are aware of the behaviour of your staff.
You must Stamp Out this bullying. Hastings is better than this!

Fed up with Amicus Horizon saying they do not receive letters/emails. I posted this one myself and put a copy on their door so everybody knows they have this one. This is Queensbury House opposite Hastings railway station in Havelock road. This is where our demonstration will begin. If we are not allowed to assemble in the station car park gather here.

Amber Rudd has told us that she is meeting with Amicus Horizon at the beginning of September and she will be discussing our problems with them. The latest reply sent to her was the usual pack of lies I think we have sent her more than enough information back for her to see the truth.
