Morning Lisa Morning Graeme.
It's 5.40am now I have been sitting here for the best part of an hour glued to your amazing web site, this after seeing Morisha's latest amazing photographic endevours.
From the Moment I arrived in Hastings I witnessed the Community Spirit, first with the most helpful taxi driver I have ever encountered, who twice took me around town, looking for a Hotel. In the following few day's, I witnessed so much more Community Spirit, that I have promoted far and wide, but never found it as I have in ''Hastings''.
Thank you, each and everyone of you.
This 3rd September has been a very special day for me. Not only has Catherine Calhoune rememberd it is Kevin's Sisters birthday, she she had the kindness and understanding that Kevin's Story needed to be published on his sisters birthday. that for me was an incredible act of Kindness.
But to sit here in the early hours to see Kevin's Angel of Hope'' on your site, well, Lisa/Graeme, I really can't describe my gratitude. Not just for Kevin, but for ''all the sick Children'' I pray now lot's of your visitors will see the link and. VOTE,VOTE,VOTE, For 'Hope''.

It is entirely our pleasure Paul. Hastings is a great town we have some very special people living here but they go unnoticed most of the time because they are such nice people, its the same most places now papers concentrate on the bad guys and the rich guys but the men and women and teenagers who actually do the work no one else wants to do go unpraised, thats why our original website was so good because it showed the true local hero`s, and I bet our police force was a surprise too? how you saw them is how they are, Hastings is a bit scruffy but nothing a bit of tlc could`nt cure, it just needs people who want to build it and not scam a pension out of it and it could be the best town in the south.

The reason I put Pauls email up is so that everyone can see how important this is to him, if we all stick together and work to the rule that if it is important to you it is important to everyone then you will be amazed what can be achieved, Paul travels all the way from Gateshead to support us in Hastings, how good is that? and we are happy to go to Gateshead and support him back.

RESIDENTS who have complained about the state of their road for more than four years are angry their housing association has not followed-up their grievances.
People living in Kings Mill Close, Milton Regis, told the Gazette last month that broken paving slabs, a damaged car park, overgrown walkways and other hazards were making where they live unpleasant and unsafe.
However, housing association AmicusHorizon's regional director Eileen Martin claimed staff had been unaware of residents' concerns until contact by the Gazette.
Sue Russell, 60, the driving force behind the campaign for improvements, was appalled and questioned what had happened to information recorded by the AmicusHorizon staff she had spoken to. We could tell her

Miss Russell said: "They've all been out; housing officers and higher management.
"They've been in my home and I've taken them round to the car park. Other residents have seen me going round with these people - there are witnesses."
A housing officer and surveyor have since visited and told Miss Russell work is likely to be carried out.
Residents have been sent a letter from AmicusHorizon saying certain requested repair works, including clearing an overgrown alleyway, fixing broken pavement and resurfacing the car park, would be carried out if Land Registry maps confirmed the area was owned by the housing association rather than by Swale Council.
Miss Russell concluded: "If they'd done the work when we first asked them to, it wouldn't have cost them nearly as much as it will now. Someone had to make a stand, and I won't let it drop until I know this area is as safe as they can get it."
Eileen Martin declined to comment on why she had not previously been made aware of residents' concerns, but said: "A representative of our asset-management team has inspected the area surrounding Tannery Court and Kings Mill Close. Because of this inspection, we will be undertaking work to correct any areas that are our responsibility."
She said residents are welcome to attend quarterly estate inspections and residents' meetings, held every two months. The next residents' meeting at Tannery Court is at 10am on August 4.
Miss Russell and her neighbours thanked Swale Council for putting up an anti-flytipping poster in the car park, warning offenders the authority would prosecute.

We are happy with the repairs that Amicus Horizon have completed in our home lately, the Apollo workment did a lovely job for us and so did the contractor who repaired our patio and stairs. The problems that we cannot get across to Amicus Horizon - Hastings council is that our complaints remain unresolved because of the years of fighting it has taken to get these repairs done - the years of bullying from their staff - the illegal methods used by their staff and the complete lack of care or concern from Hastings council - If they had really listened at our demonstration they would surely have heard the words
Stamp it Out!
From Tim; Dear Mr & Mrs xxxx, Following our conversation on the telephone this afternoon (prior to you hanging up) in which you informed me you have been recording our conversations without my knowledge or consent, you have left me no option but to have no further contact with you. I will be seeking legal advice as I believe this to be against current UK legislation and I will be advising all other agencies involved with you to seek their own legal advice also. Kind regards, Emily (Cllr.Westley)

Our book will be published around April 2011. It will be published in the U.S.A and available in the U.K via Amazon and all other good online booksellers.

Amicus Horizon proposed ex M.P Michael Foster as a mediator in our long running disputes, we rejected Michael Foster for obvious reasons and proposed Amber Rudd M.P. Amicus Horizon then accused us of refusing mediation and later stated that Amber Rudd was not qualified to mediate.
I may be wrong about the this because I do not have any interest in politics but Amber Rudd is an elected M.P so if David Cameron were to resign I assume she could be elected as leader of the Conservative party, which would make her Prime Minister. If there were a war abroad as Prime Minister she could then be called upon to mediate between the countries involved without going back to school first. If that is all correct why is it that she is not considered qualified to mediate over simple housing matters?. We selected Amber Rudd because we have good reasons to trust her. We rejected Michael Foster because we have equally good reasons not to trust him
Why is it that so many tenants who complain about Amicus horizon seem to get their sanity questioned? or get Arrested? or are Disabled?

I`m getting Pauls papers and photo`s sorted out now so his page will go live over the next few days. Paul lives in Gateshead and he`s had a really tough time over the past 7 or 8 years I`ll get the pics up first and then he can add his own words and tell his own story

Hastings councillors are still stamping their feet and making threats and denials. Will they ever get the point?
We have all been struggling against Amicus Horizon and requesting help from Hastings council on average for about 5 years in our own case specifically to Jeremy Birch. If they would do what any decent council would do and support complaints of dreadful abuse from ruthless housing association staff who use despicable methods then we might all actually make some progress but instead they insist on just latching onto lame excuses from a landlord who appears to own each and every one of them. I say to Hastings council what Amicus Horizon said to me (on tape) "Sue Us" the last time we were in court against Hastings council we showed that their barrister had abused the court process, we showed that they had entered false statements, we showed that they had failed to identify a perpetrator to the offence, we showed that their witness had lied and that he had actually entered a statement to the court from someone else. Guess What? the court allowed them to restart and restart and restart and they won! lol. The time before that we showed that Hastings council had entered a false statement from me into court and that case disappeared, the time before that Hastings council collapsed completely and begged us to accept a refund of council tax of almost £2,000.
Answer These questions Jeremy Birch; Despite years of being aware, despite a demonstration outside YOUR town Hall why have you still not even acknowledged that we have entered a complaint to you?
Why is Amicus Horizon housing association still not under supervision?
Why are you not personally supporting criminal actions against Amicus Horizon and/or their staff?
If you get us in court it will mean we finally have you there and win or lose everyone will still finally see your true colours.
Many of our members voted for you. I bet they don`t make that mistake again!

I attended a meeting with Tim and our Chief Police officer this morning at Tims house and once again you can only be proud of Hastings police our demonstration did a lot of good for Hastings (not that anyone would admit it) there is nothing but praise on facebook for our police from posters from all over sunderland-gateshead-sittingbourne-london and of course Hastings, if the police despite all the powers they have can still treat ordinary people with respect then I don`t see why councils and social housing landlords cannot do the same, the only thing I did`nt like was when the Chief Inspector said that there were no police cuts in our area, only overtime cuts. I think overtime cuts amounts to the same and would prefer to see other cuts especially on the sea front area than any police cuts. Hastings council have no idea how much the constant priority to the sea front over the town is resented by the estates that are losing play area`s or lack proper street lighting or dangerous drain covers. When I got back from this meeting another Amicus Horizon tenant has come to us with complaints about bullying following complaints, at the meeting the Chief Inspector said that the police would investigate anyone including Amicus Horizon if they were satisfied a crime had been committed we are going to send this police officer a copy of our petition and a list of complaints from everyone who has complained about bullying/threats/harassment

The picture on the left is the drain cover that we pointed out to councillor Westley. Hastings councils trained inspectors failed to notice this during their 3 inspections and councillor Westley should listen to the Ron Grimmer recording, according to him I am the type of person who would deliberately fake a fall on something like this, not that I have ever faked a fall in my life or claimed any compensation for any of the many falls I have had but there is no need to fake falls on this because it is in a dark unlit alleyway and is an accident waiting to happen
