Amicus Horizon Social Housing
Because we are tenants of Amicus Horizon Housing Association we have contractual obligations towards them as our Landlord which we keep to diligently. Amicus Horizon Housing Association also have contractual obligation towards us under the terms and conditions of our Tenancy Agreement which they wrote themselves, there is not one single Tenant of Amicus Horizon Housing Association who had any say at all in the writing of those contracts yet Amicus Horizon constantly break those Tenancy Agreements and get away with it and they get away with these breaches simply by denying. Thats all it takes. Amicus Horizon Housing Association say "We did`nt do that" We did`nt say this" etc etc. It can be very upsetting if you are the one on the freceiving end of such treatment. It does not just ruin your day it can ruin your life, it can ruin your health and it can create serious bad feelings between neighbours, contractors who may have work to do in your home, it can kill that feeling that your home is your home.

Amicus Horizon Housing Association now regulary and delberately break the very basic rules of our Tenancy Agreement and the terms of their Tenants Charter and their actions make complete nonsense of the Housing Corporation Charter.

If we contact Amicus Horizon Housing Association and request a repair or assistance or to make a complaint in fact if we request any help at all from our landlord they simply ignore us. Like ignorant storks they bury their heads in the sands of discrimination and trust that their power and influence will prevent any local group or council from hearing any cries for help from any Social Housing Tenant.

This is what They do

and when all else fails they make completely false statements.
The minute you fall out with them or question their actions Amicus Horizon Housing Association will begin their practiced process of making you look like a troublesome Tenant.

Record your calls to and from Amicus Horizon Housing Association. Make Video recordings of their visits. Record their comments and especially their promises and most of all their comments and opinions regarding their own company policies.
This will not make you a friend of Amicus Horizon Housing Association and it will not stop the Discrimination that they will inflict upon you but it will make you feel much better knowing that you have solid proof of who is in the right and it will help you to get help. Don`t leave it until their is a problem because by then it is already too late. It is our experience and that of many local residents in this area that Amicus Horizon Housing Association are not the reputable company that they claim to be and it is those first decisions, those first promises that you need proof of. Keep a diary it may not save you a lot of suffering but it will save you a considerable amount of anguish and distress.
